CO2 emissions by harnessing solar energy

The Solar Tree

The Solar Tree initiative, a testament to our dedication to promoting green energy and sustainability. Aimed at leading by example, we believe that your esteemed institution can play a pivotal role in driving change towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.

The Solar Tree initiative symbolizes a commitment to reducing carbon footprints and combating global warming. Contrary to a traditional tree, this innovative structure does not produce oxygen but saves a significant amount of CO2 emissions by harnessing solar energy. It stands not only as a beacon of green technology but also as an educational tool that inspires the younger generation and the community at large.

Our concept features a solar tree with 10 panels arranged in a circle, supported by a central column with radiating arms. Designed meticulously to withstand environmental stresses, the tree ensures safety, stability, and efficiency.

Our initiative is more than just an engineering feat; it’s a commitment to a green future. By installing a solar tree, your institution can significantly contribute to reducing pollution, educating the community about renewable energy, and showcasing innovation in sustainability.

We believe that by collaborating, we can make a substantial impact. We are keen to provide more details, discuss potential collaborations, and explore how we can tailor the Solar Tree initiative to align with your institution’s sustainability goals.

Solar Panels

Utilizes 550 Watt-peak bi-facial P-type Solar panels with a 30-year warranty. The tree consists of 10 solar panels, each measuring 8 feet by 4 feet, arranged in a circular pattern with a diameter of 26 feet.

Structural Integrity

The vertical support pipe measures 300 mm (12 inches) in diameter with a 5 mm wall thickness, extending 10 feet high with an additional 10 feet ground clearance. The entire structure, weighing between 800 to 850 kg (around 1300 kg with solar panels and inverter), is hot-dip galvanized for durability.

Efficiency and Safety

Equipped with a single MPPT based inverter boasting more than 98% efficiency and an 8-year warranty. Complemented by a robust electrical setup including an array junction box of IP67 standard, MCB by L&T company, and SPD by Phoenix Contact (German brand).
